My mother is a hard-working woman and continues to inspire me each day.

Never feel that you are not worthy or strong enough to work in a rough and tough industry! You are capable of anything you put your mind to! Work hard and strive to being the best version of yourself and what YOU believe in always!! Give it horns!! Be ruthless and be fierce! Never step down for anyone!

What has been the highlight of your career with Tyres & More®?
My boss giving me an opportunity to prove myself when I didn`t have much knowledge when I started. Because of that, I have devoted myself to this job and today I`m the best.
If you could share a message with a woman looking to join the automotive industry, what would it be?
I say we can do anything that men can do and if I can do it, then so can you. Always just be willing to learn more!

Siphokazi Mabuwa, who is one of the few South African women to obtain a doctorate in mechanical engineering
What has been the highlight of your career with Tyres & More®?
Passing my trade test after getting practical experience from our store owner, who has been in the industry for so long, and teaching me and 3 other students.
If you could share a message with a woman looking to join the automotive industry, what would it be?
I would tell the young ladies out there that being a mechanic is a great job because I learn something new every day! And plus, if you buy your own car, you will always know what the problem is and won’t be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Since I have joined Tyres and More, I have learned how to do so many things including doing services, fit brakes and suspensions and this has become my passion.
