Up and coming national automotive fitment centre network, TYRES & MORE® has taken what amounts to pole position in the broadcast sponsorship stakes. The company has concluded an agreement with SuperSport that will make it the Official Broadcast Sponsor of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series.
The Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series, respectively are the two largest of the stock car racing series sanctioned by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and will be aired on SuperSport, with repeats, now through 21 November 2015.
“Securing the broadcast sponsorship of the prestigious NASCAR series is a big deal for us,†said Marketing Manager Natashe Taljaard. “Yes, we have 18 stores around the nation and more in the pipeline, but at just two years of age, TYRES & MORE® is still the new kid on the block. But while this is our first such broadcast sponsorship, you can be assured it won`t be our last. Motor racing is a natural fit for our brand and we could not be more excited to align our name with the number one stock car racing series in the United States, and the world for that matter.â€
The broadcast sponsorship certainly is a perfect fit and the association is likely to drive greater awareness of the fast-growing TYRES & MORE® chain. Launched in July 2013, this newest member of the TiAuto Investments group has made significant inroads in the local automotive fitment market, with customers buying wholeheartedly into the Tyres & More brand and premise.
Said Taljaard, “Our premise is simple. We offer more brands, more value and more quality fitment service, for less hassle and at a lower cost. While there are small variations in the products and services offered by our stores, by and large these include tyres, wheels, brakes, shocks, batteries, windshield wipers and fitment of these products, as well as wheel alignment, wheel balancing and nitrogen inflation, among other products and services.â€
Thanks to this broadcast sponsorship, SuperSport viewers will end the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series seasons with a heightened appreciation of what the “more†stands for in TYRES & MORE®.
Both series kicked off in February with inauspicious starts to the season for last year`s winners. 2014 Sprint Cup winner Kevin Harvick finished 11th, behind 10th place Danica Patrick, who is arguably the world`s most famous female motor racing driver/model. 2014 Xfinity Series (then the Nationwide Series) champion Chase Elliott finished a disappointing 28th following an accident, but it`s a long season with many points up for grabs, as the 19-year old who is the youngest championship winner ever knows all too well.
